Troy Quincy Archer is a pen name for Brazilian fiction and fantasy writer Fábio M. Barreto. Troy was born circa 2015, when Barreto lived in Los Angeles and started qualifying himself to publish in the United States and other international markets. 

Troy Q. Archer will debut in the fantasy genre, hopefully before 2025, with the series "The Jade Lion", which is currently in development. They may be the same person, but, as a friend once noted, when the language changes, so does their style. So, Troy is a writer on his own. 

Barreto will continue publishing in Brazilian Portuguese.
